Hisanori Kato Ph.D
Board Member, Vice President for Asia and Pacific Region
Hisanori Kato is a Professor at Chuo University in Tokyo and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Sydney. He currently serves as Vice President of the Japan Society for the Comparative Study of Civilizations (JSCSC) and is a recipient of the prestigious Toynbee–Talbut Award (2012).
Professor Kato is the author of several works, including Islam in the Eyes of a Japanese, Missing Indonesia, and Indonesia, and continues to write and lecture on religion, culture, and civilizational studies.
